MATT ECTON, Assistant Pastor

Matt Ecton serves as an Assistant Pastor at Edgefield Church, overseeing adult discipleship, small groups, and family ministry. He is an alumnus of the University of Central Oklahoma (B.A.) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), where he is also pursuing a Th.M in Historical and Theological Studies. Matt and his wife Colette have a one year-old daughter, Nora.

ELIZABETH KREBS, Children’s Ministry Administrator

Elizabeth Krebs serves as the Children’s Ministry Administrator at Edgefield Church. She also serves on the worship team and is married to Nathan. Elizabeth and her husband Nathan have two daughters.

MATT McCULLOUGH, Pastor

Matt McCullough serves as a pastor of Edgefield Church. Before joining with Edgefield, he helped to plant Trinity Church near Vanderbilt University and served as pastor for ten years. He and his wife Lindsey first moved to Nashville for graduate school at Vanderbilt, where he completed a PhD in American religious history. He's the author of three books, including Remember Death: The Surprising Path to Living Hope and his forthcoming title Remember Heaven: Meditations on the World to Come for Life in the Meantime (May 2025). Matt also writes on occasion for 9Marks and the Gospel Coalition. He and Lindsey are the parents of three young boys.

JUSTIN TURNER, Director of Operations

Justin Turner serves as Director of Operations at Edgefield Church. Before joining Edgefield, Justin worked as an accountant for various organizations including CRISTA Ministries and Getty Music. He and his wife Haley have three young and wild boys.

JACOB TWADDELL, Pastoral Assistant

Jacob Twaddell serves as a Pastoral Assistant at Edgefield Church. He is an alumnus of Liberty University (B.A in Biblical Studies) and is currently pursuing a Masters degree from Reformed Theological Seminary (Atlanta). Jacob previously worked with Student Life Camps coordinating camps for Lifeway Christian Resources.
